Client will not connect

Post by Toxicwar »

After I installed FAH nothing opened at all, so I looked in the FAHControl application to see if I could find anything and I noticed that it isn't connecting it just says "Client: local Connecting Inactive"
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On a side note when going through the actual installation I noticed that it didn't ask me for a donor name or team or anything like that.

Welcome to the forum Toxicwar,

It'd help if we knew a bit more about your system. What operating system are you running? Windows, Mac OSX, Linux?

There have been several reports of this bug, but as far as I know the cause hasn't been entirely identified. The firewall was one of the potential culprits people were investigating earlier. What one are you using?
F@h is now the top computing platform on the planet and nothing unites people like a dedicated fight against a common enemy. This virus affects all of us. Lets end it together.

I just got a pop up about 30 minutes after trying to open FAH that let me allow FAH access to my network. Now the message changed to "Client local Updating Inactive" Also, I am running Widnows 8, my system specs are:
CPU: AMD FX-8350
GPU: Asus GTX 680
RAM: 16GB
If you need more detailed specs let me know

Open the FAH data directory (see a shortcut in All_Programs). Open the log file and Copy/Paste the first and last few pages (if there are that many) into your next post.
