As for the SMP client :
- 171.64.65.64 gave me 181 units (P2653:181)
- 171.64.65.63 gave me 17 units (P3051:2, P3060:2, p3062:2, p3064:5, p3065:6)
I'm having more hangs and errors on the few 3xxx units than on the 180+ 2653 units. (even the Fah stats-server seems to dislike them )
Most of them I am able to restart from copies (of work folder, client.cfg ...) that I try to make regularly.
Others I dropped as I prefer not to fold past the "preferred deadline".
Being able to restart makes me not loose all the time spent on folding but nevertheless a lot of hours my computer just produced hot air.
I realize the SMP-client is beta but it's the same client that's happilly folding lots of P2653's.
Is anyone else experiencing the same? Is is bad luck ? Are they haunted?

More Details on some of the errors :
Code: Select all
P2653(Run 19, Clone 107, Gen 46)
which seems to be a faulty WU that circulates since last year (http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1636)
P3064(Run 1, Clone 387, Gen 3) uploaded 25/04/2008 still awaiting 1753 points (http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=2353)
P3062(Run 3, clone 119, Gen 6) EUE'd after 13% on 08/05/2008 when the client wanted to send the (incomplete) result he got an error, and then "Deleting current work unit & continuing..." (did not signal it as I noticed it only today)
Project: 3064 (Run 4, Clone 75, Gen 30) found it this morning at [08:11:06] still at 0% since [18:18:41] yesterday restarting made no sense as I would have passed the (preferred) deadline.
Not realy related but going even futher back I still have 2 open (unresolved) topics coincidentely regarding 3xxx's
Project: 3903 (Run 673, Clone 4, Gen 4) and
Project: 3905 (Run 2833, Clone 4, Gen 4) from last december and early in january (http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=331&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=15)
As you can see coincidentely 3xxx's. (should not be related however)
