These WUs should only take about a day for a quad core like you are using, so something is going wrong. We are looking into the WU in question and will let you know.

This is indeed a bad WU, so please dump it. I apologize for the inconvenience, but this does happen from time to time.

The WU (P7808,R0,C406,G9) has been reported as a bad WU. Note that the list of reported WUs are stopped daily at 8am pacific time.

I've tried a number of combinations to try to kill this thing, but like a bad work unit, it keeps turning up.

This is the output of the second invocation of 'fahclient --dump 01' which I've run twice from command windows opened as administrator. I rebooted in between the invocations. Before the first invocation, in FAHControl I paused the running WU's and then clicked 'quit'. I then verified in task manager that the FAH executables were not running.

Yet when the FAHControl is reopened (which starts the client), the bad work unit is still there and running. How do I kill this thing?

Pause folding. Remember the work queue number with the bad WU. Go to start->All Programs->FAHClient->Data Directory. Then go to the work folder and delete the folder with the same number as the work queue number that contained the bad WU. Unpause and the client will take care of the rest.
