The times shown in your log should be UTC, you do not need to adjust them. As for the upload time, the end of the section of log does not show a successful upload.

Code: Select all

[13:40:35] + Attempting to send results [November 7 13:40:35 UTC]
[13:40:35] - Couldn't send HTTP request to server
[13:40:35] + Could not connect to Work Server (results)
[13:40:35] (128.143.231.201:8080)
[13:40:35] + Retrying using alternative port
[13:40:35] - Couldn't send HTTP request to server
[13:40:35] + Could not connect to Work Server (results)
[13:40:35] (128.143.231.201:80)
[13:40:35] - Error: Could not transmit unit 09 (completed November 7) to work server.
Check later in your log file to see if our client retried the upload and eventually succeeded.

I'm using langouste. I'm not sure how to do that, yet.

Langouste is a 3rd party program, not a supported part of FAH. It's not supported by this site. I suggest you contact the author of that program.

I can confirm that the server has no record of Project: 8101 (Run 20, Clone 8, Gen 41) being returned by bowlinra, though it was successfully returned by someone else.

bowlinra has presented valid client log with successful WU return. Please investigate.

We have. The log shows only that the WU was handed over to the langouste software, not that it was successfully turned in. The acknowledgement in the log is from langouste acting as a proxy, not from a work or collection server at PG. Support for langouste has to come from the author or its own forum.

I don't believe that is true. Langouste just moves the finished WU over to a second instance of a F@H client so the first F@H client can proceed to download and process a new WU. The WU was uploaded by a F@H client, not Langouste. The Stanford server acknowledged that the WU was received without any error message. He should get credit for the WU. PG should look into why the server accepted the WU but didn't give credit.

Is this an isolated problem, and the next WU got credit? Or did the next WU fail to get credit as well?

From the OP:

Still just the one report of another person turning in this WU. No record that bowlinra uploaded this WU in the database.

Wow, 90MB uploaded in 41 seconds! Is the connection really that fast, or did the server not actually receive all the data?

The acknowledgement in the log is from langouste acting as a proxy, not from a work or collection server at PG.
This is false statement.
Langouste does not send fake "acknowledgments". Traffic is relayed in verbatim fashion (just like any other HTTP proxy).

Examining db record is just a first step in investigation. Next step would be checking server logs out (naturally, if there's vested interest in learning what it is that occurred here).

WUs before and after were credited as expected. Just this one.
