Windows XP SP3

Post by zanth »

Has installing SP3 caused any issues for any of the Windows clients? I wouldn't imagine it should, but I saw it pop up on my Windows Update today and downloaded it, but don't want to install til I know for sure its not going to mess any of my folding clients up, cheers. :)

No problems with FAH, but you might want to wait and see what other problems SP3 might cause, unless you want to be one of the first guinea pigs, er, beta testers, er, upgraders.

I've installed SP3 on some of my machines ... no problems so far ...

But the SP3 doesn't bring revolutionnary patches ... it's only an easy tool for a single patch a new install ;)

Cool, thanks for the input guys. I knew it wasn't big like SP1 and SP2 were, but you never know what unexpected things MS can bring....
