Perhaps it would be best to start running normal SMP WU's till they get the problem sorted out. I'm sure that Kasson will report back when everything is working again and then you can switch back to bigadv's. Meanwhile those big machines won't be just spinning their wheels on failed Bigadv's. Obsessing on what you can't control is probably not healthy either.

Getting the points for those units was the only thing I had to look forward to today. It is Sunday and the weather is realy bad in the UK so cant even go out without a snorkel and goggles plus have no money - of all the days for this to happen

It would be best for Standord to get their act together. Things like this always happens on the weekend when no one is around. Can't they get some under graudates to babysit servers over the weekend?
The answer is simple a credit of 1 million points to my account to compensate for wasted electricity at loony UK prices or a steady stream of 8102s to my machines for the next month - surely not too much to ask in the circumstances
The servers are working properly again so no need to dump WU's , but the odds of getting credit for the previously run WU's is not real high. I had 3 -8102's and an 8101 turned in during the server mess up so aprox 1,600,000 points loss but as the saying goes it will not do any good to cry over spilled milk.
Grandpa, just curious...how do you know the Servers are working properly again? Are you seeing Bigadvs that are now being received and credited properly? Thanks.
Looks like I lost one as well, 8101 (7, 9, 55), finished around 4 AM EDT but I see the same "Server reports problem with unit" message in my logs. /sigh
Also, I lost an 8102 ~12:30am today due to this same problem with the Servers. My 4P was represented with that same WU (same Run,Clone,Gen) and will be finishing it (for a second time) in about 1.5hrs. Do we know if the WUs that were rejected today were in fact discarded? I'd just like to know if this repeat that I'm doing of that same WU is for naught or if it will be useful.
