Beginner with error...

Hi All,

I want to participate to Folding@Home.
But after starting the Control center and F@H Client, I get an error at the GPU-side.
My GPU is an ATI Radeon HD5450.

How can I solve this?
I've already installed the newest drivers and Catalyst control center...

What do you mean by, "...after starting the Control center and F@H Client" ?

Did you start one application (FAHControl), and then start the other (FAHClient)? Or did you start FAHControl and let FAHControl start FAHClient automatically?

What I meant was the last option.
So I started FAHControl and let FAHControl start FAHClient automatically...

I hope that we can solve this error.

Lost lifeline means the fah core died. Maybe you are over locked or overheated.

Also SMP probably needs to be reduced since your gpu is AMD.

According to that log the cores never even started. Something i noticed but have no idea if it means anything is these lines.

In my logs these numbers match. Did you maybe start up two copies of the client somehow?

And as Codysluder said you will want to set the smp slot to use 2 cores instead of 3 so your video card can have one.
