Folding with GPU

Post by beepos »

Hey, I'm trying go run FAH on my GPU, but cant figure how to do that.

I have a Galaxy GTX 670, and a i5 3570k.

I've tried going to advanced, then adding a slot with the gpu at -1, but after saving, nothing starts.

I have version 7

What should i do?

The Kepler GPU's require a new core that is currently being beta-tested. If you want to GPU fold with that card, you need to join the beta-testing team and accept all that that implies.

Exactly. At some point in the future, the core will graduate from beta testing, and at that point it can be used without joining the beta team.

... and at that point it can stop discouraging new donors from folding without joining the beta team. ;)

It never hurts to encourage folks to join the beta team, but they should be doing it because they want to help isolate the early bugs rather than as a way get access to projects that have not been adequately tested yet.
