Is this version 7.1.52? Can't tell from the post.
No, you don't have to install 64 bit win. I'm getting a4s all day long on XP 32 bit.

Are the bonus points meant to apply to a4core WUs that are processed by the OSX v7beta Client??? I see that the points being reported in Extreme OC are identical to those showing in the FAH "Official" listing. I expected that there would be a difference based on comments in the Forum.Jesse_V wrote:The bonus is now in effect: http://folding.typepad.com/news/2012/07 ... ffect.html

The "3rd party applications which project PPD" that Dr. Pande referred to in the blog post was referring to monitoring clients like FahMon or HFM, which predict PPD based on the frame times of work in progress. The 10% bonus is not reflected in the project summary, so those pieces of software will be inaccurate since they don't know about this extra bonus. EOC/Kakao/etc. use the official stats to provide a PPD figure based on what you've already been credited for, so those will be accurate and identical to the official stats.Aardvark wrote:Are the bonus points meant to apply to a4core WUs that are processed by the OSX v7beta Client??? All a4 WUs regardless of OS should get the bonus.

When the 10% point Bonus was announced, it was to be in place for 3 months , with an extension expected. The 3 months will complete on 10/23/2012. Has there been any announcement about the possible extension???

Not quite correct:Aardvark wrote:When the 10% point Bonus was announced, it was to be in place for 3 months ...
"we will keep this 10% bonus in effect for at least 3 months as a trial period, but plan to keep it longer, as needed."

I've seen no updates since the bonus started but I don't expect it will suddenly end on 10/23/2012. Of course, if it's not having the desired outcome, anything is possible.

@bollix47;
I believe a complete quote of my entry should have stood as follows;
Wordsmithing aside, I do completely agree with your "anything is possible " , and so I thought some comments from the bleachers might be a healthy thing.

and that does seem to be quite correct( while not being "exact").Aardvark wrote:When the 10% point Bonus was announced, it was to be in place for 3 months , with an extension expected.

Since PG already stated they planned to keep the bonus longer than 3 months, they would only comment now if they planned to stop it. No news is good news.
