Is there any way to request a certain new GPU be added to the whitelist?

Re: GPUs.txt
There's a blog post that came out today on this:piropeople13 wrote:Is there any way to request a certain new GPU be added to the whitelist?

Currently, you'll need to identify the GPU's Device ID and report it here so that someone official will add it to the whitelist on the F@h server. When that's complete, you can download the .txt file, add it into your client and restart, and things should start up.

F@h is now the top computing platform on the planet and nothing unites people like a dedicated fight against a common enemy. This virus affects all of us. Lets end it together.
Re: GPUs.txt
just put the file in the same dir as my client.db but it's still not starting to process anything...

Re: GPUs.txt
@digibrat, your log looks fine to me. The GPU slot is running. What's the problem?
This line shows that your GPU was detected:
Technically it's not FERMI but in this case it's not a problem. The slot then proceeds to run a WU with core 0x15.

Please note the difference in directories I noticed in the blog:
viewtopic.php?p=212153#p212153
The client.db in not in the directory reached by going to the Data Directory.

FAHControl.db should be in the Data Directory.bollix47 wrote:Please note the difference in directories I noticed in the blog:

Moreover the "start in" directory for the shortcuts for FAHClient and for FAHControl should both be the same as the Data Directory.
client.db is in the work directory.

Re: GPUs.txt
Correct, which is not the same as the Data Directory but the blog refers to both locations as the place to put GPUs.txt.client.db is in the work directory.
So the question remains:2) Copy the downloaded GPUs.txt file to the client's run directory. The run directory is also called the data directory. It's the same location as the 'client.db' file. In Windows there is a link to this directory in the start menu.
Is the file supposed to be put in the Data Directory or the directory that contains client.db?
Re: GPUs.txt
Missing device id 10de-1089 which is a EVGA GTX 580.
Tried adding it to my GPUs.txt file but doesn't seem to work as it should.
Can't get any assignments for my GPUs. And the SMP slot doesn't seem to be doing anything

Re: GPUs.txt
Sorry, I gave Vijay the wrong info. It's not the directory containing client.db. It's the one above it.
@digibrat I think the problem is that the core is not handling your GPU correctly. I'm not sure why. I'll ask the GPU guys.

Re: GPUs.txt
I have same issue as digibrat. What happens is pretty bizarre: when I hit fold, GPU clock jumps up, as does GPU memory usage, but utilization stays at 0 and no progress is ever made.

Re: GPUs.txt
I found a solution to make GTX 680 work
Just add "client-type:beta" to gpu slot, FAHClient will download core16 and start folding.
Core16 works on GTX 680, but low PPD?
Still waiting solutions to make GTX 680 work on core15
Here's a dump of my logfile:
