At first, I thought this was the same problem from your other thread. This one has a different symptom: Folding@home Core Shutdown: UNSTABLE_MACHINE

Either a bad work unit, or GPU with temps too high, or not enough power to drive the GPU, things like that cause unstable errors.

As for changing projects, the client is doing what the client was programmed to do when a work unit expires (other thread) it moves on to the next work unit. And in this case, when the work unit errors out, it moves on to the next work unit. This is how the client tries to stay productive.

If you only see a single unstable error, the work unit was likely the cause. If you see multiple unstable errors, the cause is likely local to your system, either software, hardware, or environmental.

As said already, the folding client is doing what it is supposed to, detecting a problem with the WU and moving on to the next. More information on that problem would be in the previous log. However, in this case you are running core A4, that is a CPU not GPU WU. So if there is a repeated error, check for overheating or overclocking of the CPU not the video card.

One other thing, you might want to check the clock on the PC, it is reporting that the UTC time is tomorrow, April 3.

Thank you for the date .. My mistake ..
And , my pc is not overheating.Yes , CPU works 100% , but it's not overheating !
Another thing.My WU was 2%.Now it takes from 0% .. Now , it's not a problem ( just for 2 % ).But at big values ?

Folding writes a checkpoint file every so often to allow continuation from where it left off. Depending on the client and which FAHcore is being used, the default time between checkpoints is 5 to 15 minutes. So normally if you stop folding the next time you start it will be at the point of the last checkpoint. But if the checkpoint files are corrupted, then the WU will start over from the beginning. That is what appears to have happened here.

The frequency of the checkpoints can be changed from the default during the configuration of the client. Have you done that?

There are a number of ways the checkpoint can get corrupted. The most common is by shutting down folding and/or your PC when it is in the middle of writing the files. Less common is problems with your hardware that corrupt the file in the process of writing it to disk. The first cause can be avoided by not shutting down so often, or by checking the last modification time of the checkpoint file in your work directory before shutting down. That time should be at least a minute or two in the past to make certain everything is flushed to the drive, and not close to coming to the end of the time between checkpoints.

Please also note that checkpoints, IMO, have never been 100% safe on SMP based work units (a3, a4, a5, a6). Checkpoints for SMP have gotten much better since first introduced, but the best way to avoid restarting a WU is to never shut off the client. ;)

As far as I can tell, since you started folding about 3 weeks ago you have only submitted 1 WU and got zero credit for it. You said before you only have your computer on for a couple hours a day. Are you sure it's worth your time running F@H on your computer? Is the only reason your running F@H on your computer to win prizes on your team, Team Jiggmin?

About the '1 WU' , well...It is not finished. My F@H sent it to server when it was 14 % ( I think ).And maybe that's why I have no points for it.
And about the team ... when I wanted to start folding .. I saw I need to put a team in the team box.And I play a game of Jiggmin .. so I decided to put the team Jiggmin there.I know this project is to help doctors curing the cancer of people ..

That's all.
