Yes, because the deadline passed for the first one.

Indeed. There's no way for Stanford to know that your still processing it. Quick returns matter, and in many cases the results don't mean much until everything has come in. Since in many cases a work unit is generated from a previous work unit, they have to have deadlines to keep things moving along. For all they know your computer is shut down. Don't worry about it too much, but just try to complete them on time. Not only will that really help the project, but I don't think it should be too difficult unless there's something that slowing down your system.

I don`t know if something is slowing down my system, but anyway.My previous project is saved or not ? I mean ... when I finish this project, I will return to my previous WU , right?

The most likely event is that someone else is assigned that expired WU. You'll get some other WU, but I wouldn't expect to see that other one back again. Don't worry its being processed, but probably won't be by you. Just keep processing whatever you get, it's fine.

See you just missed the deadline on that WU. Something to be avoided if you can help it, and if it becomes a continual problem then we should look into seeing what's going on. So I wouldn't worry too much about it, but if this keeps happening then there might be an issue. How often do you let Folding@home run?

bruce , I can`t run my F@H 24/24 .. I runned it only 2 or 3 hours ..but it worked just 1 hour .And , another thing.If I pause work and then I click Resume work , I have an error : 'Folding@home has run into a serious error running the core. and will shutdown.'

Is it still the case you only run your computer a couple hours a day and then during that couple hours you pause the client?

Pause is intended for a temporary condition with the expectation that you will resume soon. If you intend to shut down your computer, just shut down FAH -- do not Pause first. If you have already Paused, you must Resume before you shut down the computer.

If I click resume , it says: 'Folding@home has run into a serious error running the core. and will shutdown.'

And anyway , when I turn off the computer , I turn off the F@H first.I do not pause it !
