Project: 7611 (Run 2, Clone 18, Gen 72) Fast BAD_WORK_UNIT

Had an immediate BAD_WORK_UNIT on Project: 7611 (Run 2, Clone 18, Gen 72). My system is a stock Phenom II X6 (Thuban 1100T BE) running Windows 7 Ultimate. I use Client Control Version 7.1.43 and have completed several 7611s without a problem. A 7611 had just completed and a new one was starting when the new one, Project: 7611 (Run 2, Clone 18, Gen 72), just crashed.

The log file includes the fetching of the bad WU, the completion of the old one, the crash, the report of the crash, credit for the old WU, and the fetching of a replacement WU:

Project 7611 has always worked on this machine (other than 25% lower PPD than most other WUs) and on my other Phenom/Windows system. Perhaps it was just a fluke or perhaps it is really a bad WU

Another 7611 (Run 4, Clone 23, Gen 134) arrived this morning and started fine... it'll be done in about 11 hours.

While you received 0 credits for Project: 7611 (Run 2, Clone 18, Gen 72), it wasn't a bad WU. Another donor did manage to complete it successfully.
Your WU (P7611 R2 C18 G72) was added to the stats database on 2012-02-22 07:09:09 for 1720.2 points of credit.


You did receive credit for Project: 7611 (Run 4, Clone 23, Gen 134), however. :)

Thanks, it must have been a fluke. I have run several other 7611s without a problem.
