Stats server down?
Hi, I haven't seen any WUs credited for any of my teams / users in the last 6 hours.
The stanford stats reports still seem to be being generated (not hung), but just aren't showing any new credits.
It's not a major issue, but perhaps something needs a kick...

Re: Stats server down?
Ah, it's not just me then. I completed a 6900 that might have squeaked into the 04:00 UTC stats but still hasn't been credited in the 08:00 run. I was just wondering where to report it.....

Re: Stats server down?
While the stats page renders normally, I have seen no changes since (at least) 8:00 PM EST on 2/10. My logs show plenty of contributions from "the farm" but no changes in stats.

Is there an issue with the Stanford Stats?
The values don't appear to have updated for about 12 hours now....

Hi Tattysnuc,
I just posted the same question. There seems to be no News or announcements about stats.
Maybe an Admin will get us an update soon.

Re: Stats server down?
I have seen a few people posting around that they too are missing stats. It does seem to be a Stanford server issue. Hopefully someone there will be able to get it fixed without too much delay.

For those of you suffering from your Saturday stats fix deficit, please be aware Pande Group has been given an alert. It is, of course, very early yet on the left coast, Stanford time. I have WUs, though, so I'm good.

My theory is it's because they don't like being left alone during the week end so they rebel, tell them sortofageek get up earlier in the morning, An old saying goes The early bird is creamed for all of the day That may not be 1000% right but its something like that.sortofageek wrote:HaloJones wrote:Why is it always on a weekend?

I might just spend some time & maintain the Cycloptic one. Gawd, I hope I know & understand what I'm planning to do. May the Force be with me.

Re: Stats server down?
I'm not sure what happened (we're taking a look at it now, it's 9:30am pacific time), but it looks like it's running fine right now.
BTW, in terms of "why does this happen on the weekends" – the answer is that it does happen during the weekdays and we tend to fix issues very quickly. The weekend is 2/7th of the time, so it's bound to happen on a weekend every once in a while. With most us not in the office, our response time is much slower on the weekend and so that's why donors see weekend failures more than weekday failures. On the same note, when it happens on the weekdays, it always seems to happen during the night – that's the same idea.

Re: Stats server down?
PS We'll run a manual stats update just to see what's going on. My guess is that Stanford had a network hiccup over night and it was resolved this morning when the weekend crew came in.
