Folding for different teams?

Post by eduncan911 »

I apologize if this is documented somewhere. But, I've been searching off and on for about a week about this.

Can I setup multiple clients folding for different teams (but using the same username and passkey)?

I ask this because the official stats page at Stanford shows only my 1 team, and the same over at extremeoverclocking.com.

Will running clients for multiple teams affect my points/bonuses as well?

Thanks!

Yes, you can fold for multiple teams using the same name and passkey. EDIT: D'oh! 7im's right; I was getting 1 passkey with different names confused with 1 passkey with different teams. There's no re-qualifying necessary when contributing to a new team if the username stays the same.

Team # has no affect on QRB eligibility. Only the fah user name/passkey combination makes a difference.

On a similar line, is there any way to remove from your folding profile participation with a certain group? Someone changed my client for a time to fold for a group I'd rather not have on my profile. I know this sounds like a trivial question, but I'd like to know if I can remove this in any way?
