I have an Atom netbook @ 1.60 GHz. It does fold successfully even with an occasional bit of downtime. The uniprocessor deadlines are much more relaxed than those for other platforms, but they can still be a problems if I'm away from a power source for very long. My Atom does have HyperThreading, but that's not useful for FAH. If your Atom is a genuine dual processor, you can run two uniprocessor clients but it's not fast enough for SMP.PantherX wrote:My guess is that if it runs 24/7, then you can setup a UNI Slot on it. If you are unsure, you can experiment with it and report your findings here.Cerebral wrote:...I have an Atom netbook that I can set to fold at night using the unicore. Is a 1.66 Ghz single core atom enough to fold?...
