Just a little teaser... v6 clients and v7 client monitored together. It's happening. :)

I've got a lot of the issues worked out and am trying to button things up over the holidays.

OOOOOH! I'm still using HFM.net, and v6, on my big producer, and on one laptop GPU core (because the GPU GTX560M isn't whitelisted in V7 yet), so I'm defintiely intrigued .

Awesome work harlam357! Can't wait to try it out :D

BTW, is the calculation of your TPF/ETA/PPD correct or does it relay on V7's calculation (which is currently buggy) to provide this information?

I'm sure he parses the logs for tpf, and calculates eta and ppd independent of FAHClient since that's still as you say buggy.

I also don't think you need to wait much longer as he told me he'll be releasing a public beta soon.

LOL... HFM has been in 'perpetual beta' for 2 1/2 years now, although I would call the current 'beta' release pretty darn stable. I'm actually going to drop the 'beta' tag when releasing to the public this time as I move to a 1.0 release. My vision for the app to 1.0 will bring it to what I envisioned as a 'full featured' product when starting years ago. My attention will then hopefully be turned to the web where I plan on taking HFM data and combining with general folding stats.

To answer your question PantherX... yes, I'm doing my own PPD/Credit calcs and will continue to do so even after the FahClient gets its calc methods adjusted. At that level in HFM it doesn't care (or know) whether it's working with a v6 or v7 client. Have frame times, will calc. :)
