[Solved] Problems getting multiple gpus folding
So I am trying to set up a machine to fold with multiple gpus. I followed the installation instructions provide by Stanford 2x now, with both times having the same result. When I start any of the instances or check on them rather they are all showing only 1 gpu and the others. I am folding with a GTX465 and a 9800gx 2. But whenever I view the work being done all of them show the 465. What can I do to fix this? Thank you for any help that you can provide

Re: Problems getting multiple gpus folding
As an update, I switched everything over to the console version. I've got my first 2 instances working fine, but using the shortcut for my third (second core the 9800gx 2) I get a your gpu isn't supported by this driver erorr.? I'm not sure what to make of that, but any help would be greatly appreciated
Edit: I just checked and my first instance (gpu 0) is hanging at Callinf fah_main args: 14 Any thoughts?

Re: Problems getting multiple gpus folding
The GTX465 is a Fermi GPU and the 9800 series is a non-fermi (aka. G80). FAH Version 6 has never really supported mixed types of GPUs. Some people have managed to make it work but they've encountered various types difficulties. Those who have made V6 work had to use the -forcegpu nvidia_g80 or -forcegpu nvidia_fermi flags together with the -gpu N flags so that the client clearly understood which GPU was which. It takes some trial-and-error but if you're patient, you may be pleased with the results.
The upcoming V7 client is expected to be able to handle multiple GPU types. That client is currently in open beta test. It might or might not work for you but it's certainly worth a try.

I had someone on my team also recommend using V7. I reckon I will give it a go today to see how it works out
