Hello all,
I've gotten projects 10124, 10125, and 10126 on several machines running SMP folding, on both Windows and Linux. On one Windows machine with a Core i7-950, those have used frame times of 16:16, 12:40, and 12:37 respectively. At those rates, they take about 27, 21, and 21 hours a day to complete, respectively, for points credit (according to HFM) of 10015, 6160, and 6808 respectively. That's about 371, 293, and 324 points per hour.
This same i7-950 machine, which is not set to use the bigadv switch, normally runs projects from the 7100 and middle 6900 series with frame times of 4:15 or thereabouts, cranking out a new one every six or seven hours. These smaller, humbler projects give me about 400-466 points per hour.
Thus, by comparison with other projects run on the same machine, the 1012x series ties up the machine three to four times longer to produce fewer points per hour. I'm wondering if the base points and multipliers for these three projects should be increased.
I have come to dread drawing a 1012x project even on my fastest folding machine. It means the machine is gone for about a day, with not much to show for it the next day. I hope these projects are rewarding for their science because they are unrewarding otherwise.
Thanks!
Projects 10124, 25, 26 not enough points rewarded?

The same WUs with my SB 2500K@4.4GHz (4/4 cores) + GPU:
WU - 10124; TPF - 10:40 min; PPD ~ 16k+
WU - 10125; TPF - 08:18 min; PPD ~ 14k+
WU - 10126; TPF - 08:24 min; PPD ~ 14k+
WU - 7100-7154; TPF - 03:20 min; PPD ~ 18k
WU - 6952-6997; TPF - 03:24 min; PPD ~ 17k
You have processor with 4+4 HT cores. I think your times are large.
Edit: Q9650@3.5GHz:
