How fast can you run the ps3?/other questions...

this is a random question X) but i just want to know, because i can only fold about 10-200 PPH, because, it takes about 3-6 hours for me to get the work unit done, Please Help!

It runs at the speed it runs. There is no tweaking the speed of the PS3 client.

You can enable Expert Mode. The increase isn't that great, but it does help a little, apparently.

Expert Mode:

Triangle > General Settings > Folding@home Priority


Options:

Folding@home Normal Mode - all channels available

Disable Folding@home - no FAH, all other channels available

Folding@home Expert Mode - no other channels available


I use Expert so those channels I never use don't steal any precious cycles from fah...

Sorry, I didn't see you had changed the topic.

It's under General Settings somewhere, possibly under Information; I haven't run the PS3 client in a while so I don't remember exactly where. Just keep poking through the settings and you should find it. I did see that backbone may not be available for all projects.
