Odd Influx of Wu's Counted

Post by Oreo »

One of the members of our little folding team has a odd thing happening with his stats. On several occasions (8/2-8/3) points update would show that he completed 243, 240, 335, 309 etc wu's. Then on another update is showed a normal 10, 15, 12 wu's and so no. His actual points totals do not seem to be effective but since 8/1 it now shows that he has completed 4,514 wu's. Today again on two occasions it showed 186 and on next update 177 wu's completed.

Any ideas to what could be causing this? I personally have a working knowledge of all his equipment/installs and it only seems to have started doing this since the start of August.

Back off the overclock. The client is erroring out and submitting partial WUs, for little or no points.

The client log should show the errors.

Here are a couple of WUs he can look for in his log to support 7im's suspicion that his machine is dumping WUs for zero points. All times are PDT (Stanford local time: 7 hours earlier than the UTC time in the logs) and both WUs were successfully completed by someone else.
