Not sure if this is a bad WU or not, but it will not start on my computer. Here is the log for it:

The computer in question have just completed another 2686 WU before this one. Try to restart the WU in question a couple of time after noticing the issue, but it just refuse to start.

A bad WU for many donors:

The WU (P2686,R9,C16,G115) has been reported as a bad WU.

Funny - I was just run over by this exact same WU this morning - where it blew through 6 rapid attempts on this WU. Twice, the client re-downloaded core a5.

I thought that the issue was that I had left -SMP 7 on. When I woke up this morning and saw that the v6 client was still trying to get a new WU from the server, I CTRL-C'ed the client, reprogrammed for -SMP 8. Immediately after starting the client, Project: 6900 (Run 37, Clone 2, Gen 17) was assigned - it's now 23% completed.

I see that AK419 got his results a few hours later (1720 GMT) - with 8 cores enabled.

We can't see from AK419's post just what happened - whether he/she got the error C0000005 as I did.

Well, anyway, i've left the -SMP 8 on, and upped the OC a blt - I'm getting OK TPFs on it - not ideal, but stably OK.

Not sure why, but some of the errors shown in my terminal is not listed in the log. On the two restarts, it error out right after 0%. I manage to do a partial screen capture for one of those, and some of the "information" I got right after 0% are:

step 28750003: Water molecule starting at atom 1071459 can not be settled.
Check for bad contacts and/or reduce the timestep if appropriate.

And then something about Fatal error, Register dump with a few hex numbers, stack dump with more hex numbers ...etc. However, I did NOT notice the C0000005 error, nor did the client try to download a new core.
