Some anomoly in donor rankings

I have been tracking my donor ranking on a daily basis for several years. I worked my way down from 36,600
to 5,970 until today when my new ranking is 9,769. Was there a big change in the ranking system on June 23
that I missed? I don't see any kind of announcement on the subject. I have seen other posting about ranking
problems. Some list alternate sources to get rankings. What are these alternate sources (like EOC)?
I hope this is a temporary glitch.
