Fine. Work a temp job a few weekends, enough to buy a small solar panel to run the laptop on weekends. ;)

I think that if he worked weekends it would be more effective to take the laptop and plug it in there :oops:

Sure, for as long as that temp job lasts... but my goal was a solution where he did not to have to work more hours long term, but could still fold more hours with little or no additional personal costs, and thus completing the WUs. ;)

I have tried the 5.04 client (available here http://folding.stanford.edu/English/DownloadOld) on Win 7 32 bit and got a core78 project 6883 WU. So I think that's what you'll have to do (unless you want to work late on Fridays!)
