Issue with WU counts
Seems users have started noticing large WU updates at the last update
I sent in 1 unit got credit for it 1348 for a 6801 but recorded 3 WU's
Im going to post the thread to the EVGA forum discussion on it
http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?high ... =1#1041826
20,000WU as a team got updated in that update
notice JD got 120 wu's (on that update) when the highest peek of the day was 6 for him
and it's not a EOC issue...i confirm with stats at www.hardfolding.com.... it's the same there
PS: I didn't know where else to post this - It must be a server issue somewhere (miscounting)

Re: Issue with WU counts
Have you been using the -betateam flag?
The recent update added some credits for beta team members which had been missing until now. I'm not aware of any changes for advmethods or standard WUs.

Re: Issue with WU counts
it's not just me...other are receiving 100's over there normal WU counts
and now it's on to the second update and another huge dump of WU's
i just received 7 this update (should only be 3)
follow the EVGA thread
there... jd got another 139 WUs on the second update
Im using FAH GPU tracker and advmethods for SMP and GPU
just look at last 2 updates for our team

Re: Issue with WU counts
Hi,
It's the same on my usernames - could it be a GPU recredit from one of the times those servers seemed to be down?
My usernames that have never folded GPU are fine, but the GPU only names are showing phantom WU counts.
Also, my main username (rwh202) that hasn't folded GPU for a while just showed 2 units for 2696 points that look like GPU WUs.
Regards
Rob

Re: Issue with WU counts
I would look at the evga link thread to see what's going on
one person got 80 on one update then 120 on the next - way over his usual WU numbers (like 100 fold)
and no points for them
5448 points and 80 wu's?
92.223 and 120 wu's ...on second update? (I assume he brought in a bigadv...hence the 92k)
yes it could be recrediting lost wu's... but it should be on one update...not 2 or more

Re: Issue with WU counts
Ditto here. I was just looking at both Kakao and EOC stats sites. They both report in each of the last two reporting intervals points for one of my p6801 Fermi GPU WUs, but seven WUs credited. I looked through the logs of the other two PCs that are folding, and no log entries indicate any superfluous uploads.
All through the 171.64.65.64 server.
EOC - their reported time is US Central Daylight time, or UTC-5.

Re: Issue with WU counts
I run only SMP & single core WUs and there's nothing unusual on my stats (no extra million points .... damn!), so it seems to be a GPU problem.

Re: Issue with WU counts
We ran a stats recredit which picks up inconsistencies in the stats counts we found on our end. We haven't run one of these in a while (~6 months), so there may have been a lot of WUs that have added up over that time.
