171.67.108.11 Reject

Post by rjbelans »

I have just noticed that this server has been in Reject mode for about the last hour. Please make sure the people who need to know are aware of this. Thanks.

Good to know thanks! Did this prevent your client(s) from continuing? Just wondering if my machines at home will be stalled if they completed any WU's during this time-frame..

Only very rarely can the loss of a single server cause your machines to stall. When your client needs new work, the Assignment Server can almost always direct you to a server that has WUs for your configuration. Uploading the result may fail or it may be redirected to a Collection Server or it may remain on your disk, automatically retrying periodically, but in any case, getting new work is all that it takes to have your machine go back to work.
