These P6701 WUs are annoying; they take over 20 hours to run and result in 5800 PPD.
I've done a few P605x WUs; they run in just 8 hours and result in 8600 PPD.

I would run with smp -7, i have an i7 running that and it seems to give me the best PPD along with my GPU client
As for the cudart error - what GPU client do you have running? If you installed the graphical client with the systray icon, make sure you're using the shortcut that is created in your start menu.
If you're using the console client, make sure the folding EXE file is running in the same folder as the cudart dll files (they'll be included in the zip file).

If you need some more help with it, feel free to PM me :)

Also, is that an Asus G73 by any chance? I love them!

Ya its a g73JW :D

i was trying my hand at over-clocking the gpu...
but i notice a weird thing, at 850/1700/1500, the GPU client is giving 610 ns /day, but at 840/1680/1500, its giving 580ns/day, why the huge difference for just a 10Mhz change?

PS - fixed the cudart problem, just had to copy everything from the local folder the f@h folder :)

The 610 ns/day is probably a different protein than the 580ns/day protein and they probably have different atom counts.
