change team number from zero

Post by skypuppy »

Don't know if this is the correct forum area but none of the others look like it.

What I'd like to do is change my team number (0) while keeping my login (ainut) the same. Is this possible and if so, how do I get the next number, please?

Thanks.

If you don't already have a team number, create one: http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/createteam.pl

Then add that number to your client configuration, depending on which client type you have.

It depends on what you mean, but the best answer is "No"

Points credited to team "N" belong to team "N" and if you switch to team "M", future points belong to team "M" (no matter what values M and N take on, including 0). The same would be true for UserName "A" and UserName "B"

When you query the Official Stats page (http://folding.stanford.edu/English/Stats) for your UserName, it will itemize the points that User A has contributed to both team M and team N separately.

Althought 7im said you have to create a new team number, that isn't actually true. There are many fine teams already active in FAH and if you've found one that you like, join it. If you have not found one, look around, or create your own. Unfortunaely we cannot help you with those choices. This forum is completely team neutral and recruiting is prohibited.
