Project: 2692 (Run 1, Clone 23, Gen 28)
I got this:
[06:13:45] Completed 245000 out of 250000 steps (98%)
[06:27:38] CoreStatus = C000001D (-1073741795)
[06:27:38] Client-core communications error: ERROR 0xc000001d
Do I have a HW problem?
W3670 @ 4 GHZ, done about 10 -bigadv before this.

You use the code tags to post more of a log. Paste the log, highlight it, click on the Code button at the top of the message frame.
There is no data back on this one, but I'll mark it for follow-up. If someone does complete it, we'll let you know. If it does this to everyone who gets it, we'll have to make a judgment call at some point to call it bad.
What happened next? Did you get the same WU or a different one?

Re: Project: 2692 (Run 1, Clone 23, Gen 28)
When I search the internet on 0xc000001d keyword, I get several hits which seem to point to registry corruption and recommend various registry cleanup tools. I'm not familiar with any of those tools, so I'm not including a link to any of them.
Re: Project: 2692 (Run 1, Clone 23, Gen 28)
I got a 6701 and rised the OC by 75 MHz just to stress the system. So far (85%) so good. 100%, yes I will check memory if the problem persist. Currently running 7-8-7-24 on a 6-7-6-24 set.

If you continue to have the problems, check memory, consider reducing the overclock.
Re: Project: 2692 (Run 1, Clone 23, Gen 28)
Update: Got the same WU again. Killed it and changed machine ID.
Re: Project: 2692 (Run 1, Clone 23, Gen 28)
What are the odds - I had the same one on my other rig and it just completed so I must have bad HW. Sorry to have taken up your time.

Most likley too much OC may need a little more V
2 - SM H8QGi-F AMD 6xxx=112 cores @ 3.2 & 3.9Ghz
5 - SM X9QRI-f+ Intel 4650 = 320 cores @ 3.15Ghz
2 - I7 980X 4.4Ghz 2-GTX680
1 - 2700k 4.4Ghz GTX680
Total = 464 cores folding

Those "hits" are simply adverts.sortofageek wrote:When I search the internet on 0xc000001d keyword, I get several hits which seem to point to registry corruption and recommend various registry cleanup tools. I'm not familiar with any of those tools, so I'm not including a link to any of them.
The meaning of 0xC000001D is:
Code: Select all
#define STATUS_ILLEGAL_INSTRUCTION ((NTSTATUS)0xC000001DL)
Not a real doctor, I just play one on the 'net!

Yep, it is only for bigadv WUs. You can get much higher if your system is 24+ CoresFahrenheit451 wrote:77281.6 points for one WU????
