It may indeed be a good idea but at 250+ it's not accepting this finished WU.

It was restarted earlier and netload is only 42 now. Did you get a WU?

It's time to reexamine your reasons for running SMP.

I have a couple of slower duals which normally earn a small bonus. I've switched them to pairs of uniprocessor clients until this situation is resolved. HMD says that SMP has been giving me slightly higher PPD than Uni+Uni, but by the time I factor in the time that SMP spends waiting for a new assignment (which HFM doesn't consider) I believe that my total PPD may have gone up. In any case, there will be fewer clients competing for the attention of this server.

Consider whether this temporarily makes sense for you, too.

Seems this server is still having issues today. The system was able to pull down a new WU but unable to send the completed WU.

Did you get a successful send?
I have one that appears to be trying to send but it is taking forever, 15 minutes so far vs. the normal 2+ minutes.
It is NOT a local problem.
Another is queued. (see yah in 6 hours)

5 more will complete in the next 6-7 hours.

Boo!

How the heck do I get these Quads on xx.54?
Are there no Linux WUs available on that other server?

Not yet ... like yours it's taking a very long time ... up around 16 minutes versus the normal of around 6.

Net Load quickly returned to around 230

It finally finished after 33 minutes ... 5 times normal.

Any idea what the story is on the other SMP server (xx.54)?

Is anyone getting assignements from it? (Linux)

Looking at serverstats, the "WEIGHT" is either outdated/not updated or something else appears wrong.

Speeds have returned to 'normal' here too and one of my Linux setups got it's next WU from .54 so it appears to be working.

Most of my systems are running P670x but not all and the mix seems to change every day or two.
