It was just announced by Dr. Vijay in the announcement section so lets hear what you guys think about it :eugeek:

Personally I love it and wished that I could have joined much earlier but still, it's better to be late than never

Congratulations to Prof. Vijah and the entire Pande Group for offering us a decade of the most advanced protein simulation clients available :eugeek:

I might have joined abit earlier then PantherX above me, but he already has gathered more points then me so join date is not all saying ( neither are points, but hey we got to use something here to make him feel better :D ).

I hope the announcement holds true, and folding@home will only get more popular with even easier with an easier to use client ( YAY for the upcomming v7 ).

Time progresses the same, from my 20's to my 30's. but I think the changes in that time as following up each other much quicker, it's called progressive progress or ok I just made that up. But if Folding@home will keep in line with this trend, the next decade will be even more eventful then the last one, and we might see some results from our folding being applied in everyday medicine. Something I'm sure we all look forward to, doesn't matter what particular reason one folds for!

To everyone, ImageImageImage

Congrats to the team!!!!.

Is it possible to calculate how many Pentium4 Years have been produced in these last 10 years?

Pentium4 being the processor from around the beginning of Folding.

Congrats Dr Pande. You certainly have made a good career from folding.

I've been folding for Storage Forum since 5/23/2002. My starting machine was a dual processor MP 1900+ and I split the processors up one doing folding and the other UD (United devices) which started I first. I didn't switch to just folding till UD closed up shop.

My original production was 5 points/13 hours or 9 PPD.

Happy 10th to Dr. Pande & Pande Gp! Thanks for providing computer users Worldwide with the means to contribute to scientific discovery.

I started using the screensaver client on a 500mhz Celeron; earliest date I can confrim folding under my present username is 2003-01-10.

I, too, started with a 500mhz Celeron but I don't remember the date.

Congratulations, Folding@home on the completion of our first decade.

(I debated for a long time about whether I should use "our" or "your" in the previous sentence. I guess it's a "your" if we're talking only to those who have been around since the beginning, but I like "our" a lot better. Almost any of us who fold, even if we've only been folding for a short time, quickly begin to feel a sense of ownership -- it's truly "our' project -- so I guess either is correct.)

I started with a PII 400Mhz machine. According to my EXTREME Overclocking Folding @ Home Stats my first record was 05.13.04.

Congratulations to all folders. Without us the project would not be where it is today.

I did my first folding sporadically from 2003-2005 (other usernames) but had a big break and returned in early 2008. Have been folding almost all the time since then and this is a great project. Naturally im now doing most of my folding during the winter season.

Congrats!
