Which ports does F@h use?

Post by Zagen30 »

I've never really paid attention to which ports F@h uses since I've never had a problem with downloading/uploading results that weren't Stanford's fault. I'm trying to convince my college to let me recruit other students, though (not using school computers, just students'), and the people in charge of the network would like to know if any particular ports are used so they don't accidentally block F@h traffic while doing maintenance to the network.

Ports 80 and 8080 should cover it.

BTW if you use -verbosity 9 when running your clients the log will show both the server I.P. and the port being used.
