F@H Points
Well I just downloaded F@H and I play PR2 sometimes when i'm bored, and I really want a crown and a cowboy hat on my account. Can anyone tell me how I check my F@H points?

Welcome to the F@H Forum F a m o u s,
Please note that the Official Stats are updated every hour so you have to wait until it is processed. Third party Stats are updated every three hours or so, depending on how they are configured. If you have any doubts about your WU (Work Unit) being credited, please post your FAHLog here by using the Code button:
Once we have that, an Admin/Mod can look up the WU and tell you if you have been credited and how many points you have obtained for that WU.

Re: F@H Points
When you install a F@H Client, it will connect to the Standford Servers and will download a WU (Work Unit). A WU is a small slice of protein that your F@H Client will process. The time it takes to process will vary on your system specifications and WU type. The 3/100 indicated that 3 steps have been completed out of 100 steps (If I Recall Correctly). Once you finish the WU, it will upload the results and then it will be credited to your username once the Stats update. If you are unsure about anything, you may post your FAHLog (refer to my previous post) along with your system specifications and maybe we can help you out.

Re: F@H Points
Note that WUs can take several days to finish, especially if you're running the Classic client, which I'm virtually certain you are.
What hardware do you have in your computer? We can help recommend which clients to use if you're interested in maximizing your contribution, and by extension your points.

Re: F@H Points
You can and if it is a Classic Client it will only use spare CPU Cycles so it won't have any effect on you daily applications. Also the time it takes to complete a WU is dependent on how long you run F@H Client; 24/7 or for a limited number of hours per day.F a m o u s wrote:So all I have to do is let this run basically?

You sound like you're part of something called Platform Racing. (I guess that's what PR2 means.)
