Think Stanford may be down as I'm having the same problem with 171.64.65.61.

Fold on
Rick

EDIT: Home page won't load as well.
I'm folding because Dec 2005 I had radical prostate surgery.
Lost brother to spinal cancer, brother-in-law to prostate cancer.
Several 1st cousins lost and a few who have survived.

I wouldn't delete core_11 for it to download a new one anytime soon.
Under new topic you can see my other post. I think they maybe trying to clean up a virus.

We are seeing some strange behavior in the Stanford net. I've notified the network IT staff.

It looks like the servers are starting to assign work again. Three of my four cards are now folding.

PS Some updates:

IT Services is receiving complaints of slow network connections to
off-campus sites, as well as general slowness. Some external callers have
indicated an inability to reach Stanford. Network engineers are now
investigating.

--------------------

Resolution
----------
The CPU utilization one of the campus boundary routers was extremely
high, causing the router to drop packets. No unusual traffic or other
obvious cause was discovered, so an emergency reboot of the router
was scheduled. Traffic and CPU are now back to normal levels and the
networking team will continue to investigate the root cause of this
issue.

So I take it that no viruses were found? That no one else reported anything in the nature of an infection? And any claims to that nature are completely unfounded?
How to provide enough information to get helpful support
