Then how come it EUE'd on me right away? My system isn't unstable nor is it overclocked and I'm running just the CPU client 6.23. Also after this one EUE'd I got another P4606 WU and it's running with no problems.

I'm sorry. I don't have an answer for you. If it were me and I didn't continue to have problems with folding on that computer, I would just move on and consider it due to an unknown glitch of some sort.

If you continue to have problems, you might then want to look into the cause.

What is your hardware configuration? There were some questions about SSE support on older hardware a while back, although I thought they had that resolved.

People who say their system is "completely stable" are generally overclocking since the non-OC folks generally use the word "stock" to describe their system. FAH is reportedly the most stringent stability test around, exceeding all of the standard methods of finding instability.

Have you run stressCPU2?

There also seems to be some sort of problem with certain WU which causes them to fail immediately, just like yours did, or if they somehow manage to pass that point, they run to completion. I don't think anybody understands that issue, and it's not really being given a high priority -- probably because it generally wastes less than a minute.

I guess I was wrong to call it a bad WU sorry about that. Since it only happened once maybe it was just a glitch. I'm currently folding on a Dell Dimenison XPS with a 2.8Ghz P4, 2 gigs ram, Audigy 4 Pro, Radeon HD3650. Only things I've upgraded from how I got it from dell was the ram, soundcard, and video card.

I didn't mean to use the wrong word. I wouldn't know how to overclock I've been curious but I've no idea how to do it. I usually don't download stuff off the web unless it's something specific like for a game like Steam or drivers. So I haven't used any of those tests. Not sure how useful they would be for me since I haven't messed with the options for my computer much besides updating drivers.

Because you posted with the wrong PRCG in the subject line that doesn't match the PRCG in the log and everyone assumed they matched.

Good eye, Tynat. That one has EUE'd for several people and has not been completed successfully at all.

The WU (P4606,R48,C145,G43) has been reported as a bad WU.

Ugh I could have sworn I typed in the same way it was in my log with a 48 not a 20 meh. That's what I get for asking questions when I'm dead tired. Must have came from the other topic I was trying to match the way of entering the PRCG numbers.
