If you changed your name to Brual1ty then all future points would go there, but all the old points would stay where they were originally credited to (the other two names). You would then have your three user names and your points split up 3-ways. However, if you continue folding then long-term the percent of the total amount of points in the now unused usernames will get smaller and smaller till it is no longer significant.
If on the other hand you changed your name to _3rual1ty (an underscore is considered a valid character and with some of your clients the vertical bar was converted to an underscore) then all new points would go to that user name. Plus you would keep the points that are already under that name. In the end you would only be splitting the points between two names instead of three.
As to why the discrepancy of the interpretation of the vertical bar of your name between the different clients, I don't know the cause.
No points recived, why not?

Yes - but do a quick search for that user name on the stats sites just to make sure no one else is using it.|3rutal1ty wrote:yes i did read it, just interpreted wrong (its an honest mistake), i see now what the problem is, but now what still bugs me is howcome the other pc is still uploading to |3tutal1ty and not _3rutal1ty (does it just randomly chose a name or something lol).
I don't really understand what you mean but if i changed my name to Brutal1ty will the points be credited to Brutal1ty, and not _3rutal1ty or |3rutal1ty.
Re: No points recived, why not?
Somewhere in the processing of the stats, the character "|" is getting replaced by "_" so you are getting valid credits to the name _3rutality. Points from another server apparently take a different path to the stats system and they're getting credited to |3rutality.
You can choose to use the User Name _3rutality or the User Name Brutality (or choose anything else containing letters, numbers, underscore...) but don't keep using one with a | in it.
