And it keeps going for 6 attempts.

I am running an XP Pro computer. And I am using the 6.01beta2 version.

Anyone have any idea why this happened?

Did you quit the client or did it shutdown by its self?

As far as not getting a new WU the server you are being assigned to is under heavy load right now. You will get a new WU might just take a few more attempts.

Here's the culprit:

[19:13:50] Folding@home Core Shutdown: EARLY_UNIT_END

Some WUs just "break" and end early. You'll get credit for the time you spent. I also noticed:

[19:10:38] Completed 336000 out of 400000 steps (84)
[19:10:40] Extra SSE boost OK.
[19:13:50] Gromacs cannot continue further.
[19:13:50] Going to send back what have done.

So the program did continue trying to calculate for 3 minutes after starting back up. The problem occurred after the restart, not because of it. (Did you change anything else about your system? Could a hardware issue from overclocking have caused this?)
