This WU seems to totally crash the client: I'm getting a Windows text box that says the client has crashed.

I seem to have beat you by a two minutes: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=14487

Same problem with the same WU.

I've saved my folding folder. Then I deleted the work folder; the queue.dat; and finally reconfigured the client to a different machineID. That allowed me to get a different WU. Since I've saved the folder, If necessary I can go back to the bad WU.

Mine isn't looping. It is totally crashing the client. When restarted, it immediately crashes the client again. I vote that it is a bad, almost evil WU.

yep that what i called looping Crash/ Delete/restart/Crash/Dowload/restart /crash etc......

i have reported my topic has duplicated and ask to delete it or merge with yours

At the moment i have shutdown the CPU client. It is useless to genereated network traffic on stanford servers

Yes, I have OC'ing on (Q6600@3.42) but mine is very stable folding. It has been a very long time since I've had a WU that failed in any way. According to HFM.net I've completed over 100 with no failures.

I marked the WU as a bad one ... some people have been able to return partial results, but all were immediate EUE :(

I guess you can delete your WU (up to 6 times) to try to get another one.

I had already bypassed the AS re-issue problem and was folding on a new WU within minutes of when I first reported it.

I also had that exact same WU crash the client and cause a pop-up error box. Whenever I restarted it just crashed again. I shut the client off for awhile and then it finally loaded a different WU.
