Multiple "EARLY_UNIT_END" / "mdrun returned 255" Errors

One of my co-workers deleted my FAH install (which had otherwise been running without an issue) from one of the system in my office (I'm one of the owners, so no need to worry about using the systems for FAH).

I then proceeded to re-installed the FAH 6.29 package, which seemed to go off without a hitch.

Now when I run FAH I am getting "EARLY_UNIT_END" / "mdrun returned 255" errors for every WU which is downloaded. The list of WUs which have generated the error is:

When your friend deleted F@H, it could be possible that the files remained after that. You should uninstall the Client, delete any folders that were created by it and then install it again. Hopefully, there won't be any problems. Maybe you could clean out your system as the dust could be making your system unstable. Reduce the OC so that the system runs fine.

Possibly you are being affected by the "early fail" problem that is being experienced, in part, by OSX 10.6.3 users that are running with the v2.17 a3core on smp WUs.

This has been recognized by PG as a problem and a correction is in process.

Yes, my "friend" delete the entire folder... the system has a server board so, no OC is possible.

It seems that was the problem, I just tried again and got a WU which started at least...

I'm getting the "mdrun returned 255" error on two different Apple computers. I run the latest console client on each here is a snippet of the FAH log:

As with the previous poster, this occurs with every WU. I've deleted the folder I had FAH in, downloaded a new console client and put that in a new folder and I still get the same error.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are running OSX 10.6.3 there is a compatibility problem with folding. Stanford knows about this and is working on the fix(s). There is no solution other than simply waiting for them to figure out the solution.

Thanks for the info. In fact I am running 10.6.3.

Interestingly, right after I made my post (go figure), the FAH client obtained a new WU and is actually able to get past 1%. The difference this time appears to be the "load balancing" note. I looked at older entries in my FAH log and this note doesn't appear during any failed WU:
