Hello guys,
I have a problem in recovering my team passkey. My internet service provider has changed my account and therefore my email changed which I used for creating the Team.
I can enter all needed informations: Team name, founder email and username but have no access to the passkey since it is sent to a no longer existing email adress.
Is there any chance to reset the passkey or change my email adress?
Thank you.

Re: How to recover lost team passkey without email adress
I saw a debate elsewhere about the viability of keeping an old passkey when changing email. Dr. Pande said they were going to do something about that sometime soon but I haven't seen any changes yet. I know that you can keep using the old passkey until they create some sort of a migration tool. There was some discussion about using a working email address, but I see no reason we have to do that since they aren't using that capability yet either. The introduction of passkeys is moving slowly and I'm sure there will be other changes as FAH evolves.
I think that the FAH folks didn't plan on the use of a team passkey, either. They expected it to be for each individual. If you change the team passkey, everybody on the team will need to re qualify for the bonus by completing 10 more WUs.

If you have an existing client with the old passkey you can use an editor to look at the client.cfg: It should be there. Do not overwrite, just look.

Yes....would have been nice to have and old client installed. Unfortunately this is not the case since I had to reinstall my OS (from Win 7 RTM to licensed).

If you re-enter the same userid and the same email address, Stanford will generate the same passkey again.

Just to make it clear : are we talking about Team password/email or user passkey/email here ?
Re: How to recover lost team passkey without email adress
Sorry for missunderstandings.
I have have set up a Team somewhere in the end of 2009. To change something from that team (e.g. email address) you have to enter also the founder password, which I don't longer have (I think this was the passkey / password provided when setting up the team).
I manage to enter the team settings page because only team name, team user and team founder email is requiered in the first step (see link: http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/mailcurrentpass.pl).
After that I get to the page where I can make changes. But to save the changes I must enter the founder password which is sent to the no longer valid email address.
