When I see long frame times where earlier there weren't, I wonder what else is running. Folding gets out of the way of other applications that are running. These A3 WU's are particularly sensitive to even a single core being used by something else, like gaming. Folding synchronizes its threads, so if a single core is running slow because of some other application then it will slow down all the other threads to match the slowest one. So, rather than junking the WU, check the task manager to see what else is running and fix that.
The 6013 Wu's are slow but they are not that slow, it may be a bad wu. They have a maximum deadline of 3 days there is no way you are going to complete it on time, while I would not normally recommend it I would just go ahead and delete the work folder and the que and unitinfo files. And get another Wu.
