...but an unexpected storm front....
As of 1005 hrs Alaskan Time/1105 Pacific Time, 11 GPU clients without work. (Yes, I imagine the server guys are hard at work on this. I'm supplying information for whatever purpose it may serve.)
Last completed work units on the subject clients were accepted by servers 171.64.65.20, 171.67.108.21, and 171.64.65.71 (yeah, I know, I thought ~71 at was only an assignment server). Failed attempts at downloading new work units have all been with assignment server 171.64.65.71. Since the failed assignments began a couple hours ago on 71, no GPU clients of mine have been assigned to any assignment servers other than ~71.

Re: 171.64.65.71 accepting... but
Same here for 3 GPU's.
Edit: One of them just got a new WU from 171.67.108.11, so that's an improvement.

Re: 171.64.65.71 accepting... but
Restarting the clients got the assignment server to change them all to 171.67.108.11 and each has a WU now.

Re: 171.64.65.71 accepting... but
Yes, exactly my experience as well. I was able to download fresh work units just a few minutes after I reported the server 71 stall. Strange that all of sudden there was a backup, when several attempts earlier in the day - stop and start all GPU clients - failed to do anything other than failed attempts at ~71.Restarting the clients got the assignment server to change them all to 171.67.108.11 and each has a WU now.
Re: 171.64.65.71 accepting... but
171.64.65.71 was pretty nearly out of WUs about an hour ago. It has been doing a balancng act between the rate at which new WUs are downloaded and the rate at which new WUs can be produced as results are returned. The supply has been increaseing as more results are uploaded and as some other servers distribute work. With a disruption as big as this one has been, there will be a lot of ripples that will gradually subside as everything gets back into balance.

Re: 171.64.65.71 accepting... but
Couldn't get WU's again, but then 171.67.108.21 was assigned and I got 3. I lost an hour on my fastest GPU and 20 minutes on my 2nd fastest.
