Now I'm getting this on some of my other 260GTX's...

[19:42:20] + Attempting to send results [February 14 19:42:20 UTC]
[20:02:05] + Could not connect to Work Server (results)
[20:02:05] (171.64.65.71:8080)
[20:02:05] + Retrying using alternative port
[20:02:10] - Couldn't send HTTP request to server
[20:02:10] + Could not connect to Work Server (results)
[20:02:10] (171.64.65.71:80)
[20:02:10] - Error: Could not transmit unit 06 (completed February 5) to work server.
[20:02:10] - Read packet limit of 540015616... Set to 524286976.

This is BS now I have 5 GPU's with no work & more will soon be.
I have 30 Clients running on 11 rigs, should I just shut them all down?

Yes! If all the GPU donations were to stop that might get somebodies attention. This has been going on for over a week now and PG has said and done nothing. You are wasting your money at this point.

Hi

i have finished two of these 5871 units today and I have received the "Server has already received unit" message after trying to send the resukts, no increase in the quantity of units finished and no points so far:

5781 (Run 29, Clone 123, Gen 3)
5781 (Run 8, Clone 862, Gen 4)

and now unable to download new units.

This just started today for me.
Just a heads up to whomever might rectify this issue...

*Edit

I've noticed the server in question [171.67.108.21] is doing what it is supposed to do; accept WU's, not give them out.
It is also in Full status which means it is working properly.
My question is what server is supposed to give us a WU ? :? ?
I have also shut down the GPU clients not receiving WU's until perhaps Tuesday the 16th. of February as Monday is a holiday = President Day

If the money is an issue then power down for now - this looks like its going to take a while, especially as its a holiday weekend.
I have closed all my gpu clients for now - the rig is only on for the smp folding

I'll bet you don't get any credit for the WU's you just finished
Here is the answer I got back on Feb 6

Pande Group reads the forum. They do not respond to every topic, especially when there are 3 or 4 threads on the same topic. No, I don't think Pande Group needs to spend more time away from the science of the project to respond to every thread. Your opinions my vary. ;)

Lack of response doesn't not equal lack of transparency.

toTOW responded above, and Bruce has responded numerous times in that other thread toTOW linked above. If anyone has the ear of Pande Group, it's those Mods and Admins.

2 machines out now & I keep getting directed to 21 & get the dreaded "get work failed" looks like the bulk of my farm will be shut down if this keeps up.
I thought the "new" server logic was better than this changing flags does not route me to a different server...

All 5 of my GPU clients are sitting idle. All seem to have the 'Server has already received unit' error for the last WU they tried to send.

I'm seeing this too, I have 7 gpu clients all with messages like this:
[20:21:11] - Attempt #10 to get work failed, and no other work to do.
Waiting before retry.
[21:04:01] + Attempting to get work packet
[21:04:01] - Connecting to assignment server
[21:04:02] - Successful: assigned to (171.67.108.21).
[21:04:02] + News From Folding@Home: Welcome to Folding@Home
[21:04:02] Loaded queue successfully.
[21:04:02] - Couldn't send HTTP request to server
[21:04:02] + Could not connect to Work Server
[21:04:02] - Attempt #11 to get work failed, and no other work to do.
Waiting before retry.
My smp clients are all going full speed, but I am losing more than half my ppd, so that's no fun. But it does seem to have only really started killing my clients in the past few hours or so. But that's not hard and fast data, that's just from one client.

Gotten worse for me. All three down without work, and all three clients report that the server told them that the results were already received by the server.

I have all 6 of my GPU clients in the waiting for work state. Interestingly server 171.67.108.21 is reporting that it has 199,408 WU's to assign as of 3:11 pm CST so something is really messed up. We will just have to wait and hope that someone from PG gets wind of this I guess. Otherwise they will certainly notice a lack of completed work on Tuesday morning!!

spike09 is making a very valid point and I don't think its his attitude that needs adjusting.

I've pulled the plug for 24 hrs and am seriously rethinking my whole attitude towards folding.
