Yet another bonus plan question
I do not really mean to beat a dead horse into the ground, but I have a question on a different tangent.
concerning the criteria posted in another thread.
1. Must use a passkey to receive bonus points
2. Must successfully return >=10 A2 or SMP2 work units with their passkey to receive bonus points
3. Must successfully return >80% of A2 or SMP2 work units to receive bonus points
#1 no problem , have used a pass key for ever..
#2 should be no problem, have completed literally hundreds of A2's
#3 this is the sticking point; all the clients return a running performance avg. based upon completion time, this only relates to how fast individual wu's are returned. The cumulative ratio { completed/assigned } is a data set not accessible by the end user.
This is a number that would be nice to know! Is it possible some one could make it happen?

Re: Yet another bonus plan question
If you use HFM to monitor your your folding statistics, it will track completed and failed Work Units and calculate the bonus for you. You have serious hardware problems or very slow hardware if you aren't returning > 80% of your a2 or a3 WUs within the preferred deadline.

Re: Yet another bonus plan question
Or people are trashing slower WU's and concerned about wheather they are getting 80% or not.

Re: Yet another bonus plan question
Stanford will likely add features to the stats pages in regards to this new bonus program, especially the passkey. But we may have to wait for the Stats Server Upgrades before these become available.

Actually, I don't think A1s apply to the bonus qualifications. The Bonus program started with -bigadvs, which are A2s, and now extending to A3s. No bonus for A1s. Check the K value on the Psummary page. No K, no bonus.

Re: Yet another bonus plan question
^Oh yha, that i do know, but i picked up an a3 right away, with only 1 a1 completed for the bonus qualification. So my pts for the unit would a been 1450ish, but i only will get the 350ish.

Re: Yet another bonus plan question
Are bonus points added as work units come in or sometime later?
By my count my passkey should have qualified two days ago yet I'm not seeing bonus points. I have 6 smp's running mostly A3's so they are regularly sending in completed work.
Thanks

Re: Yet another bonus plan question
Bonus points are calculated when the WU is uploaded and the total is generally added to the stats at the next update.
I'd look up your recent credits for you but I don't know your FAH handle. (You might want to add that to your profile.)

My team name is weedacres. I'll check the profile.bruce wrote:Bonus points are calculated when the WU is uploaded and the total is generally added to the stats at the next update.

edit:
By handle do you mean the team name? I don't see a place for it in the profile, just put it in "Interests"?
Re: Yet another bonus plan question
Sorry, but the tool I have doesn't use team names. I need to know the UserName that you'd like information from, not the TeamNumber.

Your donor name. Felix_Pasqualli, correct? Hmm. I don't see any bonus showing up in your recently credited units. Are you sure you are using your passkey?weedacres wrote:My team name is weedacres. Re: Yet another bonus plan question
I guess I should have been a little clearer, I was refering to a person needs 10 completed a1's or a2's with a passkey to qualify for the a3 bonus points. Which I believe is correct.?7im wrote:Grandpa_01 wrote:Any 10 a1's or a2's it doesn't have to be all a1's but they do have to be with passkey
