Re: HFM.NET - Client Monitoring Application for Folding@Home
New Version: 0.4.8 - Revision 121 - Beta - Download
Wow! Happy New Year Everyone! I'm pleased to announce that version 0.4.7 of HFM.NET was the most popular yet, with more than 500 individual downloads!!! Lots of good stuff planned for 2010. Start off by updating to v0.4.8. This is an incremental update with a few fixes - primarily a pretty big bug that surfaces when mangled SMP Client logs are encountered. Check the HFM Google Code page for downloads and details on the changes.

Re: HFM.NET - Client Monitoring Application for Folding@Home
Just switched over from FAHMon as HFM.NET is able to calculate bonus points--awesome!
However, I'm having an issue this morning. All of my GPUs are currently working on 5785/5786 WUs. Even if I go to Tools --> Download New Projects from Stanford, it shows "Unknown" for the Client Type and "0" for Credit. Obviously the PPD is 0 since it isn't able to calculate it. Is there some way to get project info for these guys?

Re: HFM.NET - Client Monitoring Application for Folding@Home
I've installed the latest beta hfm using the following guide:
http://groups.google.com/group/hfm-net/ ... -in-ubuntu
When I run mono ~/hfm/HFM.exe I get the following:
Does not move on from there.
I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 but I did add the jaunty repos mentioned in the guide.
I'd like to try this monitoring program because I've read that it does calculate bonus points for PPD.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
EDIT: Managed to get past the above by installing mono 2.4 from: http://directhex.mfgames.com/hardy.html
It's still a little fragile .... e.g. if I click on any of clients 9 thru 12(sorted by ETA) the program immediately closes .... doesn't do that for clients 1 thru 8. Anyway, at least it now does come up and I was able to import the clients from FahMon and the bonus is being calculated on the a3 and bigadv a2 clients which is what I was looking for.

When I run mono ~/hfm/HFM.exe I get the following:

When does hfm update the psummery?
fahmon has the new units in, yet manually updating hfm seems to do nothing.
wu 5783 & 5785 are blank in hfm.

Re: HFM.NET - Client Monitoring Application for Folding@Home
You have to do it manually via Tools->Download Projects. As far as I know, there is no way to automate this.patonb wrote:When does hfm update the psummery?

If it wasn't, then explain why fahmon had it all correctly? Took 3hrs for it to come out in hfm after fahmon displayed it.Nathan_P wrote:

Re: HFM.NET - Client Monitoring Application for Folding@Home
Are we talking about the same projects, 5780-5786 nvidia core 11 783 points??? They were not listed and are still not listed on any psummary, my folding rig has done a couple of dozen of these now but still isn't showing any info for them.patonb wrote:If it wasn't, then explain why fahmon had it all correctly? Re: HFM.NET - Client Monitoring Application for Folding@Home
I'm talking about 5783 & 5785 as i posted in my original post.
I had both fahmon running, and hfm running, as i had just installed hfm. Fahmon read all 5 of my clients fine, unit, pts and ppd.
hfm only had 2, and the 3 new gpu units were 0's even in the pts place. I manually updated the psummary 8 times in half hour, and no change.
I'm really trying to figuree out how hfm works for future updates.
Edit.... If they aren't in psummery, why do=es now both moinitors have the information?
