When somebody says their new flagship product is xx% faster than the competition, it's a salesman talking -- and then when he refuses to confirm it, you know it's probably a lot of hot air.
When somebody says their new flagship product is xx% faster than their own previous product, it's more likely to be true.
In either case, I can wait for the independent benchmark folks to review the product.
