Gettin' ready to graduate

Post by DanEnsign »

From the acknowledgements page of my thesis:

"I would like to thank my many coworkers and friends from Stanford without whom graduate life would have been unbearably uninteresting. ... My advisor, Vijay Pande, is without doubt one of the coolest smart people ever, even if he is a Patriots fan (nobody is perfect). Even the least of my accomplishments were made worthwhile through his trust, guidance, and encouragement.

Finally, most of the calculations I have done were accomplished through the grace of the thousands of Folding@home contributors who donated their processors and sometimes ridiculous amounts of their time. This is their Ph. D., too."

Seriously, thanks guys.

Have fun,
Dan

I could get my diploma in the form of a tattoo, then everyone could get a matching tattoo.
