Project: 2665 (Run 0, Clone 347, Gen 129)

Post by xposer »

I received this WU, Project: 2665 (Run 0, Clone 347, Gen 129) " Working on Unit 06 [October 8 18:09:03]"

It has processed the wu to

" Completed 165000 out of 250000 steps (66 percent)
[09:41:39] Warning: long 1-4 interactions
[09:41:40] Gromacs cannot continue further.
[09:41:40] Going to send back what have done."

It's now Nov 1st, and it's still processing the same wu to the same place. (66 percent)

Please remove it from the server. It's been processed by this rig 22 times.

I'd like to get back to productive folding.

Thank-you

Its not the server - your client has stopped functioning for some reason and cannot finish the WU
My suggestion would be:

Stop/kill the client
Navigate to the folder where the smp client is installed.
Delete the following files:-
queue.*
unitinfo.*
Delete the work directory
Restart the SMP client and that should solve the problem.

I know that it means that you have deleted some work but the deadline has now passed for that WU and will have been reassigned to someone else

Also, be sure to check that the WU that you are assigned after you restart the client has a different value for at least one of the four numbers PRCG. If not, repeat those steps until you get a different assignment.
