I've saw a post in Folding Blog concerning new cores and clients for performance folders. I see it as very very important news. Any information when will be it available for us?

He did say that hopefully SMP2 will be released in a month or two. We're probably lucky to get that much, since the Pande Group almost never announces release dates unless something has just been released.

I hope that this new GPU3 cliente brings the PPD of ATI card up.
The gap in PPD betwen ATI vs Nvidia is too big....
I also hope that the new SMP give us the same PPD in windows as in Linux. The problem was the a2 core. There will be a new core, like A3 or something?

..."or something" is probably right for both SMP2 and GPU2. Stanford doesn't disclose very much until just before launch. Watch the News page, as that is where the info will appear when available.
