Re: List of SMP WUs with the "1 core usage" issue
Delete machinedependent.dat. Doing so will cause your machine to be seen as a fresh install and you will get a new (different) WU. Your processor count will go up by one.

Re: List of SMP WUs with the "1 core usage" issue
I got a WU that was previously reported, Project: 2669 (Run 0, Clone 32, Gen 188). Is no one looking at this to remove the bad WU'a or is this thread just something to give us a warm fuzzy feeling?

Re: List of SMP WUs with the "1 core usage" issue
Got 2671 (Run 37,Clone 79,Gen 78) on list, downloaded Aug 22, due Aug 25--Frame time 1hr 5min.
Should have completed my 10 WU's by now to qualify for -bigadv. Prior frame times were well under 4 min.
Update:
Got 2671 (Run 37,Clone 79,Gen 78) again--talk about a bad penny...

Re: List of SMP WUs with the "1 core usage" issue
Both of these have been previously reported.
Project: 2671 (Run 37, Clone 79, Gen 78)
Project: 2671 (Run 52, Clone 43, Gen 82)
Having said that, I delete them, get a different WU assigned, which runs to completion. I then get the same bad wu again. It's a bit tiresome having to delete them over and over again.
Any chance they can be pulled by Pande?

Well, I got another repeat that someone else received earlier. Project: 2677 (Run 30, Clone 64, Gen 26). Could we please get these bad WUs' out of the mix?

I've just sent a little reminder to kasson.

Re: List of SMP WUs with the "1 core usage" issue
Update on the issue : kasson can't remove or pause these bad WUs ... this is a core issue, so doing so would mean turning off all SMP A2 projects and I'm sure no one would like this
By the way, he is testing a fix, so we can expect to see a new fixed core soon (maybe this week ?). Of course, this is in the better case, which only occurs if no new bugs are found in the testing phases.

Core 2.08, one core: Project: 2677 (Run 3, Clone 57, Gen 29)
compressed_data_size=1505181
Core 2.07, Hung at Entering M.D: 2669 (Run 15, Clone 175, Gen 185)
compressed_data_size=1512698
This is becoming frustrating and wasteful.
